Gallery- Installation

Although much has changed over the course of history, one constant has been humans’ requirements for survival--namely food, warmth, and shelter This installation consists of three pieces based on the theme of warmth. Due to their intimate association with our bodies, each object is both simple and complex. The warmth “Radiator” provides serves as a symbol of home and security.  “Harvest Table” recalls memories of preparing food for meals and canning vegetables with my family. “Warming Stones” act as a surrogate body, satisfying our need for warmth on a physical and emotional level.
